*Team 1 Evening Class 1947-1954 Summary*:The best, the worst, and the interesting :
My speech was about the atomic bomb. (Domingo)
The best of this bomb was that United States won World War II, against Japan. What happened is after the U.S. threw the atomic bomb on Japan, this country quit this war.

The worst of this bomb was when the U.S. threw it on these two
cities of Japan which were Hirochima and Nagazaki. These two bombs killed a lot of people and contaminated all. The people who did not die got serious illness without cure.
The interesting part of this is somehow the Soviet Union took the atomic bomb specifications from somewhere and started doing it and testing them. This was the beginning of the “arms war” which was part of the Cold War and lasted a long time.

My speech was about advances that women made after WWII . (Parvin)
Princess Elizabeth II – coronation (the first time ever shown on TV)
In Iran: Women had a time of more western style freedom under Mohamed Riza Shah.
I also spoke about some interesting places in Iran.
